“2 Miles Brand” by Race Roszell
The “American Dream” used to consist of a simple household and a nine-to-five job, just getting by. The internet age has sparked a realization that people can not only survive, but even make a living owning their own business. Marketing is so much easier for entrepreneurs today. Because of this, many artists have realized that they can use this to get their work out and even make a living off of it. This new age has essentially redefined the American dream. It is no longer about surviving, but about loving what you do.
Passion can be found just about anywhere. There are subcultures in just about any hobby you could imagine; anything from modifying cars, creating art, and making coffee to things like collecting vintage tools or coins. These are great ways to stay sane in such a high-speed society, but full potential can be unlocked when people realize that these passions can actually be tapped into and used to provide an income and sustenance. Even more than that, if you have a motivated individual running a business in a field that they love, you will almost always get a higher quality product.
2 Miles Brand is not simply a print shop, but a way to encompass everything I love into one thing. Screenprinting has been a huge part of my life recently, so at its core 2 Miles is a print shop. The Shop also has a clothing brand associated with it to share my love for clothing and fashion. The clothing is accessible to people of all price levels but will always have exclusive items available. The mobile print shop incorporates my love for cars and is a vehicle that can fit in at a car show and a festival alike. I have always had a love for marketing, which definitely plays a part in the growing of the business. The goal of 2 Miles is not simply to create a business, but to fuel a brand with passion.
To go the extra mile.
