A Table & Chairs was created to help inspire college graduates to find a home in another state and to give them the resources to do so.  As a college student, I spent the past four years looking forward to moving, and then the past two years preparing for it.  This included finding a job, finding an apartment within my budget, knowing when I would need to change my license and car title, and many other things.  Through my research, I realized how convenient it would be if there was a service that pulled all that research together and gave me the applications and deadlines all in one place.  Thus, A Table & Chairs was created.

A Table & Chairs is a company that helps college graduates move to another state by partnering together with companies around the United States, pulling together job applications, apartment applications, utility applications, driver license forms, car title forms, gym memberships, hobby suggestions, etc.  All of this is based off of the member’s degree, budget, and interests that he or she provides when signing up.  Once signed up, depending on the package one signs up for, he or she receives email and text updates and reminders that there are applications to fill out.  All are put on a schedule depending on what is needed for the next to happen; as an example, apartment applications are not emailed out until a job is secured.

In order to influence students to move, A Table & Chairs uses Instagram as its platform by using watercolor and ink paintings to inspire students to find a home in another state.  These paintings include national parks, beaches, mountains, restaurants, apartments, and anything else that shows how another state can be a second home.

The goal of A Table & Chairs is to make moving easy and stress-free for college graduates.  This is done by influencing college graduates to want to move and providing the resources needed to move.  Through this, he or she can find not only a job and an apartment, but a second home.
